George Lewis Jr was born on May 3rd, 1980 to George and Sherry Lewis in Jackson Mississippi. He was the second of four children. George came into this world as an energetic boy who adored his family. He quickly became the “big brother” and was referenced as a role model to many throughout his life. He grew up Claremont and Pomona, CA, where he attended Bethel Sda Church. George attended Emerson Middle School and eventually graduated from Claremont High School. He was known as a kind, funny, tall, and shy person who loved basketball and played on the team for four years with a career highlight of 22 points and 18 rebounds. After high school, George attended Platt College where he obtained a degree in graphic design. Following this, he attended Mt San Antonio College where he again met friends that would become brothers. While playing for Rio Hondo College in 2002, George would meet the love of his life Jaimie and fall in love. They got married in 2008 and remained in a loving and faithful relationship throughout his life. George and Jaimie would spend the next two decades creating the “Lewis Tribe”. George attended the University of Northridge and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art. After graduating, George and Jaimie started their family, giving birth to their four girls, Amari, Maya, then the twins they prophetically knew they’d one day have, Harper and Oliva. They moved to Rialto where they had their final act, August George. George was a loving and caring husband, father, son, brother, Uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. His favorite movies were He Got Game, The Last Dragon, and the Wiz which he watched and shared with his babies. George was always the center of bringing family together at the Lewis Tribe compound, often creating faith based dialogue. He was an extraordinary father and husband and always created the foundation of righteous living. Wherever you saw George, you saw Jaimie, as their love was inseparable. After finishing college, George had a career as a graphic designer and multimedia specialist.
